About Us

We're a group of people living in the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, in the province of Almería. We're passionate about this land: its volcanic beaches, its underwater landscapes, its whitewashed villages, and the way of life that has been kept here for generations.

We built Níjar.net because we knew the park better than any guide we could find online, and we wanted to share that with visitors, and with the people who live here, like us. We try to keep the information useful, honest and up to date: where to eat, what to do, where to sleep, what's on in the municipality, and the services you might need if you settle in the area.
