Playa Cala de En medio

Cala de En medio is a 150-metre-long beach with fine, golden sand and no stones. Its most distinctive features are the fossilised dunes on either side, which form stone tongues extending into the sea, creating small water pools due to erosion. From the beach, there are views of Agua Amarga and, in the background, Mesa Roldán hill with its lighthouse and castle. It is a wild beach with no services.

How to Get There

Access is on foot from Agua Amarga via a difficult hiking trail. There are no ramps or walkways. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes from the end of the drivable track.

Parking and Facilities

There is no direct parking at the beach. Car access is restricted in summer, so vehicles must be left in Agua Amarga, and the rest of the journey completed on foot. The beach has no services, bins, or cleaning facilities.
