Playa del Barronal
Playa del Barronal is an 800-metre long unspoilt beach situated in the Campillo del Genovés area, between Playa de Genoveses and Playa de Mónsul. It is characterised by fine, stone-free sand, with basaltic rock formations at its edges and dunes with natural vegetation at the rear. Its more secluded location makes it less crowded than nearby beaches, and it is frequently used by naturists.
How to Get There
From San José, take the unpaved dirt track towards Mónsul beach. Playa del Barronal is located after Genoveses and before Mónsul.
Parking and Facilities
Parking is available approximately 10 minutes' walk from the beach. In summer, vehicle access to the car park is restricted and it fills up early. There are no services on the beach, such as beach bars, showers, or toilets.
