Los Escullos
The San Felipe Castle, quiet coves and the most family-friendly Cabo de Gata.
Los Escullos is one of the most complete coastal centers in the central section of the natural park. Presided over by the Castillo de San Felipe —a perfectly preserved 18th-century watchtower—, the town has a beach, campsite, restaurants, and a tranquility that makes it especially suitable for families.
Los Escullos beach, with its characteristic sandstone reef, offers calm and sheltered waters. The castle is open to visitors and offers extraordinary views of the volcanic coastline.
