La Isleta del Moro
The most photogenic fishing village in Cabo de Gata.
La Isleta del Moro is probably the most photographed village in Cabo de Gata, and for good reason. The colorful boats in the small harbor, the white houses staggered on the rocky promontory, and the sea in various shades of blue make up a postcard scene that appears in all travel guides.
But beyond the aesthetics, La Isleta has its own character. It retains an active fishing community, several restaurants serving fresh fish of the day, and an atmosphere that, in the low season, regains the calm of a real village.
The coves that surround it—accessible on foot from the village—are among the most beautiful in the central section of the park. A place to stay longer than planned.
