Playa San José
Playa San José is the main urban beach in the village of San José. Unlike many of the Natural Park's wild coves, this beach offers a full range of services and easy access, making it a practical choice for families and those seeking convenience. At 850 metres long with fine sand, it is the largest beach in the locality.
How to Get There
The beach is located within the urban centre of San José. It is directly accessible from the village streets, without the need to use dirt tracks.
Parking and Facilities
Parking is available nearby, though restrictions may apply in summer and spaces fill up quickly. The beach features adapted access for people with reduced mobility, toilets, showers, bars, beach bars (chiringuitos), restaurants, and accommodation directly on the beachfront. Lifeguard services are also provided.

- Guided kayak tours: It is possible to book a guided kayak tour exploring the cliff area of Los Frailes, Cala Higuera, Cala Punta de la Higuera, and Cueva del Tabaco. This tour allows observation of the integral marine reserve of Punta de Loma Pelada, known for its diverse aquatic life.
