It offers a tranquil atmosphere for those seeking a more secluded beach experience. The landscape features a mix of sand and rocks, with Mediterranean scrub vegetation surrounding the area.

How to Get There

From Agua Amarga, access is via a dirt track that starts from the village. The distance is short, approximately 1 km. The track is passable by car, but it is advisable to drive slowly due to the uneven surface. The estimated travel time is 5 minutes.

Parking and Facilities

Beach Characteristics

It is a small cove, approximately 50 metres long. The sand is medium-grained, mixed with small stones. The swell is usually gentle, making it suitable for calm swimming. The waters are clear. Visitor numbers are low even in high season, allowing for greater privacy. The recommended time for swimming is from spring to autumn, although it is also pleasant for walks in winter.

What to Do

The main activities are swimming and relaxation. It is a good spot for snorkelling due to the clear water and the presence of rocks that host marine life. It is also suitable for reading or simply enjoying the sun in a natural environment.

Practical Tips

  • 💡 Bring everything you need: water, food, an umbrella, and towels, as there are no services at the cove.
  • 💡 Wear appropriate footwear for walking on the dirt track and rocks.
  • 💡 Respect the natural environment: take all your rubbish with you and leave no trace of your visit.
  • 💡 Consider visiting outside the hottest hours of the day in summer to avoid intense heat.
